A few weeks ago I wrote a summary of my notes from plenary speaker, David Instone-Brewer, at the 2015 Rethinking Hell conference. I recently came across an article he wrote on the same line of thought from that session, though it is more focused on the teaching of Jesus and not so much comparing it to the other Jewish modes of thinking in his day.
