In a previous post I wrote about wether hell is the primary motivator for Christian mission (the answer is no). Regardless of which view you hold, the punishment should not be the primary motivation. The positive result of believing the gospel, being filled with the spirit of God, and becoming like Jesus is peace, hope, and love...and more. This is the primary motive for mission.
